VOTE NO ON the Adams freindship school REFERENDUM
Our schools matter to us all and we want a balanced way moving forward.
Voting NO supports a responsible budget that values every taxpayer while keeping our student spaces strong and healthy and every child an opportunity for an education. We cannot afford another $2,750,000 a year for 4 years. That's $11 million dollars...for day to day operations.
THE ISSUES
FINANCIAL RISK
We oppose the referendum because it creates an unnecessary debt burden for our taxpayers.
EDUCATIONAL QUALITY
Our current funding model provides the resources necessary for high-quality education.
LOCAL CONTROL
Community districts must maintain the right to decide their own future. We believe that non-stop referendums create an undo burden on the taxpayers.
STUDENT SAFETY
Investing in our students' safety is a non-negotiable priority. We must ensure that our district's resources are used to protect our children and maintain a secure learning environment.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
The referendum's potential impact on our community's social fabric is significant. We must prioritize the long-term health and cohesion of our district over short-term financial decisions.
LONG-TERM VISION
We believe in a future where our district is prepared for any challenge. The district is trying to build up a capital funds budget they should have addressed years ago. This should not be the taxpayers burden now.
